Manufactured Components
Compression Springs
Compression springs are devices made up of helically formed coils with pitch in between used to push back on an applied force or load in order to return to its original position when the force or load is released.
Compression Springs
- 0.10mm - 3.00mm
- 0.004in - 0.118in
- Constant and Variable Pitch
- Barrel & Conical Compression
- Non-standard compression springs
Tension Springs
Tension springs have no pitch in between the coils. The load applied to tension springs stretches its tightly wound coils apart. Tension springs resist the pulling force that is placed upon them and this creates a pull back effect when the force is removed
Tension Springs
- 0.10mm - 3.00mm
- 0.004in - 0.118in
- Swivel Tension
- German / English Loops
- Closed & Double Closed loops
- Extended leg Tension Springs
- Non standard tension springs
Torsion Springs
Torsional springs can be open or closed coiled and they exert a radial force. Their 'legs' are rotated thus winding/twisting the springs coils generating a torque.
Torsion Springs
- 0.10mm - 3.00mm
- 0.004in - 0.118in
- Single and Double Torsion
- Axial and Radial legs
- Non standard torsion springs
Wireforms
Wireforms are finished shaped wire that has been manufactured into a specified configuration. Wireforms can be made into various shapes and sizes and are customised for each specific job.
Flat Strip
Flat strip springs are a type of spring made from a flat metal strip. This spring type is often used in electrical applications, such as switches and relays. Flat strip springs are incredibly versatile, robust and durable, meaning they can withstand a lot of wear and tear and can be customized to meet the specific needs of your project.
Hose Guard
Hose guard springs are an essential part of any machinery that uses hoses. They are designed to keep the hose in place and prevent it from kinking or being damaged. Hose guard springs are available in various sizes and can be custom-made to fit your needs.
Hose Guards
- SG 4 | SG 6 | SG 8 | SG 10 | SG 12 | SG 16 | SG 20 | SG 24 | SG 32
- Standard Open Coil Hoseguard
- Close Coil Hoseguard
- Custom Manufacture
- Stock on Hand
Magazine Springs
Magazine springs are designed to push the rounds up into the firearm's chamber. Manufactured from materials like chrome silicone and high tensile carbon steels, these springs are required to offer high load in small spaces.
Magazine Springs
- 0.40mm - 2.60mm
- 0.004in - 0.10 in
- 100 % Setting available
- Tapered and Non-tapered
Garter Springs
Coiled steel Garter springs are a type of spring used in oil seals, shaft seals, and belt-driven motors. These springs are made from various materials. Coiled steel Garter springs are connected at each end to create a circular shape, which helps to prevent oil leaks and maintain a tight seal on the shaft.
Garter Springs
- Oil seals
- Shaft seals
- Conveyor systems
- Hydraulic pump seals
- Tapered Ends
- Insert Ends
- Hook Ends
Supplied Components
Die Springs
Die Springs are manufactured to close tolerances, suitable for many critical applications, and designed for die or mould use. These springs withstand the high temperatures and pressures typical in die casting and other metalworking processes.
Belleville Washers
Belleville spring washers are conical-shaped disks with a hole in the centre. They provide a preload between two mating surfaces and maintain that preload under thermal cycling or vibration. Belleville spring washers are made from various materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, zinc-plated steel and Inconel.
Belleville Washers
- To DIN 2093 | DIN 1.4310 | DIN 1.4568
- Disc Spring
- Bearing Preload Washers
- Serrated Safety Washers
- Heavy Duty Bolting Washers
- Flange Bolting Washers
- Special Purpose
Friction Springs
Friction springs are particular types of springs designed to function under high loads that use a rolling friction principle where there is a need for a large force to be applied in a relatively small space instead. In addition to their high load capacity, friction springs also have a high level of resistance to shock and vibration.
Friction Springs
- High Damping Potential
- Overload-safe in a blocked position
- Independent of loading rate
- Maintenance-free
- Versatility in design Parallel and series arrangement
Wave Springs
Wave springs are designed to take up less space than traditional flat-wire springs. By engineering the wire to form waves, the wave spring can be much thinner than a flat-wire spring while still providing the same amount of force. This helps to optimize space in an assembly.
